The fiery five-tracker record showcases the musician’s storytelling prowess and unique African Hip Hop sound.

On 'Jiggy’s Heart', Apelete begins his ghetto gospels with the first track, 'Young G', where he talks about maintaining his sanity and chasing prosperity in a world torn by strife and struggles.

He continues his street-focused treatise with 'Jiggy Bop,' where he raps about gangster love and motivation, creating a mood-lifting hustler soundtrack with lush 808s and heavy Hip Hop bounce. “2 AM we dey for Folixx/Think about police/Na popo dey guide me,” he sings.

On the third track, 'Superstar Life', he sketches his hedonism on a sonic canvas hued with breezy piano chords and a subtler yet vibrant Hip-Hop bounce, asking listeners to prioritize living life on their terms as the core ingredients for being a superstar in anything they do.

The fourth track, 'Bad' featuring industry contemporary DTO, continues the storytelling spree on the EP, showcasing his sing-rapping skill as he praises his lover and her effervescent sensual energy on the track.

Closing the EP with 'Jiggy Boys 4L', Apelete shines with a resplendent lover-boy energy tenderly strung with heartfelt guitar riffs, as he promises his unflinching affection to his lover.

The entire EP affirms his pedigree as a ‘Jiggy Boy’, which expresses a multifaceted identity that remains primed on the power of love, either of self, of family, or of that one special person, inviting listeners to prioritize love in all their dealings.

“The creation of this project started with a motive to express and showcase myself, my perspective of my own life and how I feel as a person, a human being; differently in a very (masculine) way that feels so attractive that I can see and make out beauty out of everything and every situation,” Apelete quipped, detailing his muse for the EP.
