Oreka Godis, Shyne, DJ Neptune and Muna will be joining Lagos based radio station Urban 96.5 FM.
The new FM dial kicked off operation early this month. It is the first branch set up of the recently launched URBAN96 FM Radio Network. Urban 96 FM is set to offer its audience a two in one pop culture experience. It listeners will also be able to watch the live operations of the radio station with the freshly launched Urban96 TV project.
"The Urban96 brand builds and expands upon, Lagos' great radio legacy as we will be bringing you unarguably the singular best combination of experience and refreshingly unique sound," Group Head of Radio Operations, Jonathan Lyamgohn said in a press statement.
"With a combination of on air personalities drawn from across various backgrounds, Lagos is definitely set to experience radio that gives triple for the price of one - great friends, great music and great delivery.”

Abiola 'Abby' Oyebade
Abby is a marketing communications graduate. She previously worked as an on air personality at the Beat 97.9FM in Ibadan.
DJ Neptune
DJ Neptune makes his returns to radio. He worked as a resident DJ at Ray power 100.5 FM Lagos from 2004 to 2010. Following this he expanded his brand creating mixtapes and collaborating with several Nigerian artists.
Efe 'Fay Fay' Odudu
Efe Odudu is a professional voice over artist.
Munachii ‘Muna’ Abi
Former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria Munachii Abi goes on air as a presenter for the first time. The rapper has worked as a TV presenter in the past hosting Malta Guiness Street Dance Africa and Nokia’s Don’t Break The Beat.
Oreka 'Rhecks' Godis
Oreka Godis was once a presenter on the Beat 99.9 FM. After two years at the station in 2011, the presenter fondly called Rhecks by her fans moved to Network News 24 (NN24). She eventually kicked off a radio/TV talk show called the “Love Lounge” on EbonyLife TV.
Segun Emdin
After almost two year at Beat 99.9 FM, Segun Emdin joins the Urban FM team.
Shine 'Shyne' Begho
Shyne previously worked at Cool 96.9FM where she presented “The Sunday Chill Out Zone and Tweet with Shine”. She began her media journey on Galaxy Television as a radio presenter. She had short stints at several other radio stations including Eko FM and Hot FM Abuja.
Solomon Ladani
Known for his fluent tongue on Hausa and Patois (Patwa), Ladani previously worked at Classic 97.3 FM, Naija 102.7 FM and on Internet based radio iGroove.
Tage
Tage’s real name is Kingsley Obike. The radio presenter is a multilingual Nigerian language speaker - he speaks Igbo and Yoruba fluently.
Tyeng Gang
Tyeng Gang is an award winning presenter. He has worked at several radio stations in Nigeria including Cool FM Abuja, Cool FM Port Harcourt, Kiss FM Abuja and Beat 97. 9 FM of which he was pioneer in the radio set up.
