The trio made up of a rapper, and two producers have been in the country for a few months now. VHS Safari is made up of Will and David, friends from Washington D.C. Together with Kahli they are an afro-electro group/band formed in Brooklyn, NY and now based in Lagos.

During their Pulse TV interview, Will and David spoke briefly about their experience in Lagos.

"It's been a great overall experience. I love the people first and foremost, definitely adjustments. It's learning a lot about a new city, a new culture" said Will.

David also said "Being in Lagos coming from New York is nothing we can't handle but its been a different experience for sure."

Kahli Abdu was born and raised in Nigeria but hasn't lived in Lagos over a long period of time. Staying in Lagos with VHS Safari is the longest time he has spent in the city so far. In his own words Lagos is tough but he is learning.]

"Yeah I have never stayed in Lagos this long because I usually travel. I come to Lagos, I go to Jos, I go to other parts of the North. This is the first time I have been in Lagos for a concentrated period of time. And it's tough you know. It's flooded. There is no power, there is no water. It's tough but that's how live. So I am learning new things" Kahli Abdu told Pulse.
