Reality show to launch contestant/artist collaboration segment

Contestants will be given the opportunity to work with a renowned producer and songwriter to create a new song.

MTN Project Fame is set to introduce a new segment to season 8 of the reality TV show.

The fresh segment will see the contestants paired up with an already established artist to create a remake of their song. They will also be given the opportunity to work with a renowned producer and songwriter to forge a new song.

Cobhams Asuquo, Del B, DJ Coublon, Password, Shizzi, Sarz and Selebobo have been selected as producers to work with the contestants. The segment will see Password double as a songwriter with Monica Ogah.

The purpose of this collaboration, which is in partnership with 960 Music, is to give the participants a sense of how music is conceived and produced before they leave the academy.
