Veteran singer at war with Olamide over copyright claim

Reports reveal that Professor Linkin is furious with Olamide, claiming the rapper, sampled lyrics off his ‘Jogodo’ song.

According to reports, one of Ajegunle’s finest musicians and veteran singer, Professor Linkin is currently at loggerheads with indigenous rapper, Olamide.

The singer was famous for his hit single, ‘Jogodo’, which was released in 2004, with an album, also called ‘Jogodo’, under the management of Globe Disc Entertainment.

Reports reveal that Professor Linkin is furious with Olamide, claiming the rapper, sampled lyrics off his ‘Jogodo’ song. The disputed lyrics were contained in ‘My Heart O’, a song by Mc Galaxy on which Olamide featured.

Professor Linkin isn’t pleased that his consent was not obtained, and  plans to press charges, citing copyright infringement.
