Patoranking is out with his debut album album,
The album which has been teased on social media for all through last month, finally makes an appearance today, August 1, 2016.
Featuring 16 tracks, and collaborations with Wizkid, Olamide, Sarkodie, Phyno and KWAM1, runs for just over an hour.
G.O.E
An introspective number which also doubles as a thanksgiving song to God. Patoranking shares his comeup story, documents his struggles and influences, while attributing his success to God’s favor and mercy.
This Kind Luv (ft Wizkid)
Produced by Sarz, the percussion on this one first gets to you, before Wizkid brings on both skill and stardust to make you fall in love. A track for the lovers, this speaks to your heart, combines the powers of two stars, and contains very great horns. There’s every reason to grab this one first.
Love Town
Another romantic number, Patoranking plays through the track, wooing his love interest with affection, promises of bliss and a strong romance that feels like walking into a city whose very fabric is made up of love. There’s also syncopation and amazing drumming to back light you up.
Daniella Whine (ft. Elephant Man & Konshens)
Already a hit song, ‘Daniella Whine’ could not make the cut in its raw form. Instead, Patoranking showed up with a remix that goes deeper into the genre, bringing dancehall greats, Konshens and Elephant Man on it to increase the intensity, and also the pleasure. Harder is better on this one.
Ayinde (ft. Kwam 1)
For lovers of purist traditional sounds, this collaboration is made in ‘owambe’ heaven for you. Still retaining the talking drums from Fuji, Patoranking and the legend KWAM1 come together for a special single that would sure be one of your highlights for a long time. There’s genius in every sound.
