NTIC Celebrates Outstanding Staff
The management of Nigerian Tulip International College (NTIC) presented long service awards to sixty-one exceptional employees.

During the ceremony, which was held on February 12, 2026, the institution officially designated Air Commodore Darlington Abdullahi (rtd) and Mrs. Mary Onyali as ambassadors.

Leadership stated that these individuals contributed more than fifteen years of dedicated service to the advancement of NTIC, necessitating this formal recognition.

The NTIC Abuja Conference Hall hosted the gathering, which welcomed members of the NTIC Board, parents, delegates from the Ministry of Education, alumni, and various dignitaries.

Dr. Fevzullah Bilgin, the Managing Director, described NTIC as a “well-established network of international schools organized for its strong commitment to character education, academic excellence, and holistic student development”.

The Managing Director revealed that the organisation maintains campuses in Lagos, Yobe, Kano, Kaduna, and Abuja. The college offers both the Nigerian curriculum and robust foundation programmes to ensure academic proficiency at every level.

The schools established a solid institutional legacy rooted in quality and discipline over the past twenty-eight years. Furthermore, the institution consistently records outstanding national and international achievements on academic and competitive platforms.

NTIC places high value on the health and welfare of the workforce and acknowledges the central role of human capital in educational quality. The college continuously integrates cutting-edge technology and online learning platforms to enrich the teaching experience.

As noted by Dr. Bilgin, “Through this comprehensive approach, NTIC remains dedicated to developing principled, globally competitive learners prepared to thrive in an increasingly dynamic world”.

Dr. Bilgin further explained the appointment of Air Commodore Darlington Abdullahi and Mrs. Mary Onyali as ambassadors.

He stated that, “Air Commodore Darlington Abdullahi and Mrs. Mary Onyali have been chosen as NTIC Ambassadors due to their contributions to the development of our nation, Nigeria, and this will set a focus for our students to be people of great impact in their various endeavors and to always be the best version of themselves.”

The college distributed mouth-watering appreciation gifts, including 13th-month salaries and large electronic appliances, to recipients across all cadres.

The Managing Director observed that, “These staff who were given appointment letters more than 15 years ago, have all risen to various administrative staff cadres in their various capacities in the school and proven to be committed to the development of NTIC and supporting in providing world-class education to the students “.

Leadership highlighted the career progression available within the system as evidence that “NTIC is a school that gives room for growth and development, and this is evidenced in the career progression that has taken place for the staff who have been in the system for a while.”

Several long-term employees reflected upon their journey during the event. Dr. Muazu Omeji, who spent twenty-one years with the college, described NTIC as more than a workplace. Mrs. Njepuome Margaret Chris noted an eye-opening twenty-two-year journey, while Mr. Ugoala Uchenna Joseph cited the school as a growing platform.

Abdusalam Adeyemi Ahmed, the current Head of Academics in Abuja, discussed the opportunity to serve in various capacities. Mrs. Oluwatoyin Kolawole Okotie, who remained with the institution for seventeen years, confirmed a strong family-oriented administration.

The two ambassadors cited the dedication of the school to student growth and staff well-being as the reason for their acceptance of the roles. Dr. Fevzullah encouraged personnel to remain committed to their duties, as rewards will arrive for everyone in due course.
