This week, My Africa caught up with Ngozi Dozie – co-founder and partner of Kaizen Venture Partners, a private equity firm set to disrupt the Nigerian market with their approach.
Their portfolio covers telecoms, finance, food establishments, hotels and even coffee! Ngozi and Kaizen also run Cafe Neo – Nigeria’s largest coffee chain, aiming to be the Starbucks of West Africa.
Ngozi Dozie and his brother founded Kaizen in 2008 at the height of the financial crisis. They raised money from friends and family and have since gone on to invest in companies across Africa. In this very open and candid interview, Ngozi (who was born in Lagos) explains his background story and gives fascinating views and advice on all business matters.
