It was a funfilled day as guests and movie stars kept trooping in to support one of their own, Blessing Effiom Egbe, the producer, who by the way was ecstatic at success of the movie. It may interest you to know that, Two Brides and a Baby has already picked up five awards and over twenty nominations.
Noticeable stars at the event included; Rita Dominic, Ali Baba, Stephanie Okereke, Uche Jumbo, Omoni Oboli, Charles Novia, Ufuoma Ejenobor and Hollywood Actor Hakeem Kae-Kazeem (Hotel Rwanda). Surprisingly though, was the absence of Stella Damasus and Kalu Ikeagwu. That however did not take away anything from the event as it was a complete success.
Two Brides and a baby is a story of love, hate, blackmail, marriage and forgiveness. The story is centred on a couple about to be married in 24hrs but the marriage is put in jeopardy because of the sudden appearance of the groom’s ex-lover, who was jilted and wants revenge. It’s a good movie, so the next time you are at the cinema you should see it or better still go get a copy!
