Right-back angry with Arsene Wenger for blocking move to Man Utd

After struggling to hold down a regular place at the Arsenal, the France international  opted to leave the club with Manchester United interested.

Wenger however did not authorise Debuchy's move to a club rival and the right-back eventually joined Ligue 1 side Bordeaux.

Debuchy said he is disappointed with Wenger blocking the move to United.

"I was disappointed, obviously. If I had the chance to go to Manchester United it would have been magnificent," Debuchy told Canal+.

"Unfortunately it wasn't the case. I discussed it with the coach too, who said that obviously he couldn't help out a rival.

"Yes, I'm a little bit annoyed with him. It's his choice."
