During an advocacy visit to the ministry’s headquarters in Abuja, the Corps Marshall, Boboye Oyeyemi, spoke on speed as the highest cause of accidents.

Oyeyemi identified the speed limiting device as the most effective to stop motorists from speeding.

The Minister of State for Health,Dr. Osagie Ehanire, promised to take rescue operations seriously.

While speaking on the negative effect of accidents on the entire country, he called on relevant bodies to work on providing speedy rescue operations.

"All stakeholders must come on board and be committed towards ensuring rapid response to road accidents and prevention of same."
