Lagos Polo Club wins maiden Africa edition

The Eko Atlantic Beach Polo Tournament, Lagos, Nigeria ended yesterday Sunday March 22, 2015 at the Eko Atlantic beach.

The event brought together six teams with a total of more than 70 horses and 24 riders from the Lagos Polo Club.

Team Lagos Polo Club emerged winners amidst a tight competition from the Red Bull team with a 5-4 score line at the end of the day.

All the riders were given awards and a bottle of champagne to walk home with. Baba Dangote won MVP award, Mr Abduraman from the Power Horse Team came second and Kwame came third.
