Andrea De Cesaris in his active days also drove for nine other teams, in 208 Grands Prix through a driving career that span from 1980 to 1994; where in 1982, he became the youngest driver to start a Grand Prix from the front of a grid at 22.
Most notable success ever recorded by the Italian was a second-place finish in Germany and South Africa in 1983 with Alfa Romeo, he holds the record for the most races without a success, having started 208 Grand Prix without winning any
