How to make the Hot Carmel Apple Juice

Apple juice is a great, healthy juice great for the dry harmattan weather.

But juices can get a little boring after a while. Why not switch things up with the hot carmel apple juice.

What you need:

  • 2 cups apple juice
  • 3 tablespoons caramel syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup whipped cream, or to taste (optional)

- Whisk apple juice, caramel syrup, cinnamon, and nutmeg together in a saucepan over medium-high heat.

- Cook and whisk briskly until mixture is hot but not boiling, about 3 minutes. Add vanilla; cook and stir for 1 more minute.

- Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream.
