Top 5 Nigerian covers of Rihanna's work

Rihanna’s “ANTI” album has been one of the highlights of 2016 so far, and although the LP is yet to make inroads into the Nigerian scene, one song which has successfully captured us is the mega single ‘Work’, her collaboration with Drake.

Released as a single off the album, the song and its double visuals has taken over Nigerian airspace, receiving the highest number of airplays in Lagos.

As is always the case, a number of Nigerian acts have covered the song, with Burna Boy leading the charge. Others include Skales, Fefe, and Maleek Berry. See them below.

Burna Boy

Spaceship Entertainment boss Burna Boy flows on Rihanna's lead single 'Work' oweing to popular demand from his fans. In the midst of all the criticisms, fights and controversies surrounding him, the dancehall rapper manages to put out an impressive cover of Barbados pop and dancehall artist Rihanna's  'work' off her latest album ''Anti''.

He talks majorly about his failed relationship with his woman, and how he has to put in work for his music. Then he gets all nasty from then on letting out his disgust.

Afrobeat artist Mazi Chukz has covered Rihanna’s new single ‘Work’. The song is the lead single off her latest album “Anti”.

The original version of the song features Drake. The track was produced by Boi-1da.

Last month the United Kingdom based artist released a song titled ‘Dem hail’ featuring Maleek Berry of StarBoy Entertainment.
