Singer wins again with bad behaviour and we love him for it

It’s a New Year for the rest of us, but not for Burna Boy.

You know all of that yearly traditions that we all observe, where you scribble stuff on a paper and headline it New Year resolution? Yep.

Burna Boy didn’t do it. In fact, he hasn’t done so for the past three years. The last time he did it, was in 2013, and there was only one resolution on it: BE A BAD SOMEBODY.

Burna Boy has been living that dream until date, and it clearly has worked for him. From running into various people, to accusations of vile behaviour, he has kept it up. At some point within the past three years, he has threatened to kill people, fought off accusations from a potential ‘Baby mama’, and had a funny little fight with MTV Base, and he is still going strong. He is very consistent.

MTV Base are involved in a new one with the singer, and clearly according to Burna Boy, they went searching for his trouble. Being a Thursday, the broadcasting house decided to plug in Burna Boy in a program that involves comparing two artistes, and playing their videos.

This is generally a good thing to every artiste on the planet except Burna Boy. MTV Base paired the man with Patoranking, another dancehall general in the country, and the man felt the need to respond.

“Stop this,” he mightily responded, “I will soon block MTV for this.”

Another fan had the misfortune of responding to the tweet, and he got jammed by Burna Boy, who saw through the person’s human form to discover that underneath all of that skin, bones, finery and Twitter account, is a vile insect hated by everyone. Where Twitter saw a human, Burna saw a cockroach.

Damn.

It’s 2017 people, and although the industry has slowly fallen into a dull rut, where no one fights, and everyone supports each other, it’s almost refreshing that Burna Boy will never change for no one. He is big, strong and reliable in the bad behavior department. He is the rock, upon which we will build our expectations, and the gates of industry fakeness will never prevail upon him.

Never change Burna Boy. Never change for no one.
