The #BringBackOurGirls group, as part of its Global Week of Action, marched to Aso Rock today, October 14 after requesting an audience with President Goodluck Jonathan.

The group is protesting the continued captivity of the over 200 Chibok girls who were kidnapped 6 months ago on April 14.
The demonstration was attended by former Minister of Education, Obiageli Ezekwesili who has continually spearheaded calls for the girls’ rescue.
The protesters weren’t allowed into the presidential villa and they were barricaded off by security agents.
