In an exclusive interview with Pulse Nigeria, Bridget Chigbufue, who was one of the presenters at the 2014 African Fashion Week, dished out on the tips needed to become a great red carpet host.

"The way you are dressed, makes it easier for people to relate with you."

3. Have a good sense of humour.

"Trust me it's needed. Throw a compliment, even if the person isn't looking nice."

4. Do your research.

"Not just in entertainment, political and social too. Know your world."

5. Be crazy on social media.

"Whatever you are doing, put yourself out there. Nobody can promote you as much as you promote yourself."
