Ex-Governor’s Son Dies In Dubai

According to The Nation, Oyoms Alamieyeseigha, a son of former Bayelsa State Governor, Diepreye Alamieyeseigha is dead.

The younger Alamieyeseigha is said to have been found dead in his father’s home in Dubai, the commercial capital of the United Arab Emirates, on Saturday, October 11.

There are conflicting reports regarding the cause of his death with some claiming he was killed while yet others say he committed suicide.

Diepreye Alamiyesegha  was the governor of Bayelsa, President Goodluck Jonathan’s home state, from 29 May 1999 – 9 December 2005.
