On March 14, Twitter user @Lynne_13, a self-proclaimed lover of "TV and cats," asked Survivor host Jeff Probst if viewers could "get an idol icon next to the lower third of players currently in possession of an idol?"

hey @JeffProbst can we get an idol icon next to the lower third of players currently in possession of an idol? my memory sucks. ily. @survivorcbs #survivor - Lynne on Tw*tter (@Lynne_13) March 14, 2019

About two hours later, Probst tweeted Lynne back, thanking her for her "great idea." A little over a week later, Probst again thanked Lynne, adding that her idea would start to appear in upcoming episodes of Survivor: Edge of Extinction, and that she had all the bragging rights.

Your idea will begin in upcoming episodes and continue... thanks again for helping #survivor ! Anytime you see it come up on the screen, brag to your friends "That was my friggin idea!" JP - Jeff Probst (@JeffProbst) March 26, 2019

Fans were instantly appreciative of the new detail. One Twitter user said, "Thank you for implementing! I noticed it tonight, and it was such a great idea from another fan!,"

Another user called it a "gamechanger!"

While most fans loved the new graphic, some found the sentence of text to be a bit too much.

I read into that too pic.twitter.com/i6xX5ys9LX - Taylor Allen (@TaylorAllen133) March 28, 2019

Survivor fan @fyfey23 suggested using a smaller picture of an idol instead of the longer block of text, which also seems like a great idea.

Could even make it an actual pic of the idol rather than a wall of text. pic.twitter.com/qy3h2Sir6U - Michael Fyfe (@fyfey23) March 28, 2019

It's pretty great to know that Probst and the Survivor producers listen to fan suggestions, and who knows what new detail could pop up on our screens next.
