APC candidate campaigns in Borno despite security risk [PHOTOS]

The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari has taken his campaign to Borno State.

Buhari arrived Maiduguri, the state capital, today, February 16, and was greeted by Governor Kashim Shettima and a horde of supporters.

The state government on Sunday, February 15, declared Monday a work-free day to enable citizens of the state turn out in their number to welcome the APC candidate.

Buhari visited the state despite security risks occasioned by terrorist group, Boko Haram, which operates largely in the North-East.

The former Head of State was forced to cancel an earlier visit to Borno due to security concerns.
