Ladies! Here are top 3 excuses guys give when they are trying to avoid commitment

If you’re ready to go all the way and he’s not, this is how he’s going to try to wriggle his way out of commitment.

In that tweet, Sylar [@theveryRONguy] says: “My guy’s girlfriend just gave him an ultimatum. They’ve been dating for 7 years. She’s 26, He’s 30. “She says he has 4 months to put a ring on it or that’s it.”

While we do not know what the result of this ultimatum will be, we consider the things guys say when they find themselves unprepared for commitment in situations like this. So if your guy is not ready for the level of commitment  you are seeking, here is what she will likely say:

1. My job is the most important right now

A classic example of what most guys would quickly jump on when trying to avoid commitment to you.

Many times, their reluctance to settle down with you for good actually has nothing to do with their jobs. If he says his job is more important right now, it doesn’t necessarily mean he cares about his job that much.

What is sure though, is that he does not care about you that much. If he really did, his job and you can exist together in his life.

2. Let’s not ruin what we have going

In other words: I want to keep smashing and enjoying all the benefits you bring with you but I don’t ever want it to be more than this.

No extra effort. No stepping up. No commitment.

3. You deserve better than me

This is a variant of the “It’s not you, it’s me” stunt. Guys who are avoiding commitment with you will say this to make you feel like they are not good enough for you when in fact they painted a different picture to you all along.

When you were cool with just coasting in the non-committal relationship, he deemed himself good enough. Now you have fallen far in love and demand more and suddenly, he tells you he’s not good enough.

Actually, by trying to escape this new level you are asking him to ascend with you, he truly doesn’t deserve you. But he could if he really wanted you, and you know it.

He just doesn’t think you are worth the stress. But of course, that’s his loss and you know it.
