The hospitality demands of Burna Boy while on tour

Booking a celebrity for a show is one thing, being able to fulfil their demands is another time.

Kenya Journalist, Sinda Matiko wrote extensively for The Nation on the demands celebrities usually make before they make an appearance.

According to him, Grammy winning Nigerian artiste, Burna Boy usually demands $500,000 before he can perform at a concert, but more than that Burna Boy has some luxurious demands. His hospitality riders will see to all his demands.

According to The Nation, here are some of Burna demands;

A luxurious 13-seater jet must be booked for Burna Boy which will be approved by his management.

Then, he would need a convoy of five vehicles, a sprinter bus, a van and three SUVs throughout his stay.

Burna boy has to stay at a four- or five-star hotel with one deluxe king room, an exclusive smoking suite, two junior suites, and six double standard rooms with big mirrors which makes it a total of 10 rooms.

Also, there should be a green room for him and his crew to relax plus, the green room should have a smoking area.

All ten rooms must have food three times a day. The approved menu includes "jollof rice, plantain, four options of fried fish, seabass, salmon, chicken, fried yam, seafood, and salad."

According to Sindo, when it comes to drinks, it’s a whole bar, there should be, “12 bottles of still and carbonated spring water, eight ginger ales, six sprites, six Pepsi sodas, fresh grapes, strawberries, pineapples, mangoes, watermelons, three bottles of Veuve Cliquot Champagne, and one bottle each of Hennessey XO cognac, Jack Daniels whiskey, white wine, preferably a Chardonnay or Chablis.”

All Burna Boy’s towels are black, six black face towels and four black bath towels should be available for the star.

Well, what else can be expected from a whole African giant? He has earned the right to demand for comfort and luxury.
