We rank our top 5 favorite characters from 'My siblings and I'

In this article, we’re counting our top five characters from the series.

Played by Funke Akindele, Vivian, who is the wife of Stanley Aderuagba the first born of the family comes as our number one. This bossy mother of two who is obsessed with the latest designer items absolutely spices up the show with her over the top attempts to outdo Lillian Aderuagba, her first sister-in-law who she is in constant competition with. Her character survives on the energetic and comedic antics of the one and only Funke Akindele and the show just wouldn’t be the same without her!

Angela Aderuagba is another face on the show that we can’t help but love. Last born of the family and the busy body, this funny little girl survives on trading favours with her older ones and constantly disagreeing with James, her immediate older brother.

Susan, is another favorite. She’s the oyinbo girl who Femi Aberuagba, the family’s third born, has brought home after his Masters in the UK. Susan is such a sweetheart, who is in love with the Aberuagbas and wants to try out everything Nigerian that she can lay her hands on, from dancing at an owambe to drinking hot pepper soup.

Dave, Dave. Has no job, has no woman, has the tonest of muscles to be found in the Aberuagba’s family. This work our freak is obsessed with nothing else but looking fit and sexy for the rest of the days of his life, and not even his line of failed businesses will stop him!

And finally, the mommy of the house, Mrs Aberuagba is full of drama. No one else knows how to curb the many excesses of her seven children and two grandchildren as she does. But what we love most about this super mom is her prowess for hooking up the singles around her. Mama Aberuagba is never out of ideas for how to get a husband for her first daughter Lilly or her only brother Nonso.

While these are the characters who have made it to our top five, everyone in the Aberuagba family is surely special and make up such an incredible chemistry that keeps us cracking up and wanting more, from episode to episode.

With Showmax, you can stream every new installment of My Siblings and I which are released every Monday or binge watch all past episodes from Season 1 to date.
