Stan Wawrinka lost in the first round of Wimbledon to a 21-year-old who had never won a Grand Slam match

The fifth ranked player in the world was looking to complete a career grand slam with a win at Wimbledon, but fell in just four sets to the unseeded challenger.

It didn't take long for the first shocker of Wimbledon 2017, as three-time Grand Slam champion Stan Wawrinka lost on opening day to unseeded Daniil Medvedev in four sets on Centre Court.
