Aaron Judge put a dent in Yankee Stadium with a home run

The star rookie is putting up incredible power numbers for the New York Yankees, but Tuesday's homer might have been his most impressive feat yet.

Aaron Judge was already considered one of the most dangerous hitters in baseball, but on Tuesday night, the star rookie took things to a new level by causing actual structural damage to his home stadium.

The 25-year-old's monster home runs have made him the talk of MLB, and his latest blast could be the most impressive one yet. On Tuesday night, Judge connected on a pitch from J.A. Happ of the Toronto Blue Jays for a solo home run to left-center field, putting a dent in a metal casement above a Yankee Stadium door in the process.

There was no doubt about that one -- it was a home run as soon as it left the bat. According to MLB's Statcast, it would have traveled 456 feet if it hadn't run into the casement, and at 118.4 miles per hour, it was the fourth-hardest-hit home run of the season. Fittingly, Judge also hit the three home runs that rank ahead of it.

On the season, Judge has posted impressive power numbers: 28 home runs, 63 RBI and a .689 slugging percentage. All three figures lead the American League.

The Yankees, meanwhile, ended up losing Tuesday's game by a score of 4-1. The home run was the only blemish on an otherwise terrific performance from Happ -- a testament to Judge's prowess at the plate.

There will be plenty of opportunities to watch Judge crush more home runs in the near future. The Yankees have one more series remaining before the All-Star break, and Judge will be in Miami to participate in the Home Run Derby on Monday.
