He was a golf and rugby player and was selected as "head of school" for the 2016/15 year. A school friend told the Mail he was "popular" and "quite a catch."

Faquharson's CV includes a summer as an intern with the Centre for Democracy and Peace Building in Northern Ireland, an appearance in a rugby video played at the World Cup Opening ceremony in 2015 (which Prince Harry also appeared in), and a role as a member of the Rugby School's chemistry club, the Blue Bunsen Society.

The Telegraph reported that his Twitter account, which has now been deleted, suggested he had an interest in investment just like his 57-year-old father, Charles, who is chief executive of London-based Insight Investment Management Limited. His 58-year-old mother, Catherine, is also a qualified accountant.

The family are believed to live in a sex-bed detached home in Woodbridge, Suffolk, worth £1.6 million.

He had also made clear via Twitter that he is a critic of US president Donald Trump, according to The Telegraph. However, the Mail reported that he followed the current president on Twitter, but did not follow Barack Obama.
