How carrots & apples can be used to cure bad breath

Apples are crunchy and rich in fiber and chewing on them can scrape plaque that accumulates on teeth, causing mild or serious mouth odour as the case may be.
Because apples are also particularly juicy, they trigger an increased production of bacteria-fighting saliva inside the mouth.

Carrots are just as useful for oral sanitation. To get the best of carrots in this regard, all you need is:
- 8 peeled carrots. [if all you get are the small ones, try using 16]
- Peeled lemon
- A handful of fresh mint leaves

- 5 stalks of celery [Igbos call it ‘achara’ and should be available wherever vegetables are sold]
Wash these with lukewarm water and blend to juice. Drink this fresh juice at least three to four times a week for several weeks in a row.
The fresh mint, lemon, and celery will all help to sanitize the mouth, esophagus, and stomach, which can reduce or even totally cure halitosis aka bad breath.
