Raymond, 15, who she had by her ex-husband, Charles Ekwu, in 2002, has been living with sickle cell anaemia from birth.

According to Linda Ikeji he reportedly died from complications associated with the disease on Monday, August 21, 2017.  Her last post on Facebook sees her giving thanks to God for safe journey on August 17, 2017.

She wrote, "Glad to be home. But l have to say thank you to all the beautiful, amazing angels that made my sojourn in the US memorable: aunty Bessy ( American mama ) princesses Gillian and Helen and families, Williams, Vivian, Boma, Prince, sir Benson, most especially Lovett: you rock !!!
