The Controversial on-air personality (OAP) took to Twitter to react to a video of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) preaching on ‘Tithing and Curses.’

In the video below, Pastor Adeboye is seen telling the congregation to pay their tithes because “it is not a minor thing.”

He goes on to say, “You read it. Malachi 3 from vs 8–11, I have said it time and again, if your physical father curses you go to your spiritual father to cancel it, but if your pastor or general overseer curses you, fast for 40days and 40nights for God to cancel the curse.”

The OAP did not drop the subject. He later posted a video of Pastor Sam Adeyemi preaching on tithing.

“Tithing as practiced under the law of Moses has expired, No Christian should be forced, made, cursed or compelled to pay tithes,” the Senior Pastor of Daystar Christian Centre says.

Freeze reacts to this sermon writing:

Between Daddy Freeze and Pastor Adeboye

These two have opposing opinions on tithing. For the RCCG G.O, tithing is very compulsory and disobeying could result in divine curses from God.

On the other hand, we have Daddy Freeze, who says otherwise. This difference in opinion has resulted in the occasional back-and-forths between the two.
