Dave Meltzer reports that 25-year-old will have to recover from a shoulder injury first before undergoing surgery on his neck.

The shoulder injury ruled out Orton till WrestleMania, but he will be out for an extended time because of the neck problem.

Oorton could be out of wrestling for a year which means he'd be missing WrestleMania 33.

The neck injury will be  to remove bone chips but fusion will be necessary if the problem is worse than expected.
