The Chicago Bulls ended the Golden State Warriors' franchise-record home winning streak on Tuesday with an overtime victory.
Derrick Rose hit a jump shot with seven seconds remaining to end the Golden State Warriors' home winning streak at 19 games in Tuesday's NBA action, as the Chicago Bulls triumphed 113-111 in overtime.
The Warriors' franchise record run in Oakland looked safe when they scored the first seven points of the fourth quarter to lead 88-79, and they still led by seven with five minutes and 24 seconds on the clock.
But Chicago went on a 15-4 blitz to lead 107-105 with 15 seconds remaining and the Warriors' Draymond Green had to score in the last two seconds to force overtime.
In a tight extra period, the Bulls scored first through Pau Gasol and although Stephen Curry did his best to keep the home side in the match - scoring all four of Golden State's overtime points - Rose's 20-footer ensured the visitors clinched victory.
Rose top-scored for the Bulls with 30 points, while Joakim Noah (18 points, 15 rebounds) and Pau Gasol (18, 16) were also impressive contributors for Chicago.
The visitors had six players reach double figures for points, as did Golden State, with Klay Thompson (30) leading the way for the Warriors, although he did miss a shot to tie the game in overtime after Rose's go-ahead jumper.
Victory took Chicago to a 30-17 win-loss record, leaving them fourth in the NBA's Eastern Conference, while the Warriors (36-7) remain on top in the West.
In a rare occurrence, all six NBA games saw the visiting team triumph.
Two of the three teams ahead of the Bulls in the East also won with the Toronto Raptors overcoming the Indiana Pacers 104-91, while the Washington Wizards defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 98-92.
The Atlanta Hawks, who lead the Eastern Conference, did not play on Tuesday.
The Cleveland Cavaliers (26-20) kept the pressure up on the Bulls as they registered a seventh win in a row - accounting for the Detroit Pistons 103-95, while in other results, the Milwaukee Bucks trumped the Miami Heat 109-102 and the Memphis Grizzlies won 109-90 at the Dallas Mavericks.
