F1 champ signs new £120M Mercedes deal

The new deal which is reportedly  worth about £120million will be announced at the upcoming Monaco Grand Prix

 

Current World number one, Lewis Hamilton has signed a new deal with Mercedes deal after months of protracted contract talks.

The new deal which is reportedly  worth about £120million will be announced at the upcoming Monaco Grand Prix.

Hamilton dropped the hint of the announcement while speaking at the just concluded Spanish Grand Prix.

"I will have some news for you in Monaco..." the reigning Formula One champion said.

In the new contract, Hamilton, according to reports has  asked to keep his image rights, his trophies and winning cars.

Usually, trophies and cars are kept in a team’s trophy cabinet, with drivers sometimes receiving replicas.
