The players from the Cuban national team were arrested in July during the World League tournament prior to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
The Cuban team was in the city participating in the tournament in Tampere where they lost 3-1 against Finland.
After investigations, the players have been found guilty and were all given prison sentences despite all denying the charges.
The court sentenced four of the men to five years in prison, and the fifth to three and a half years.
Eight players from the Cuban national team were originally arrested in July from the hotel they were staying.
The arrests happened after police in Tampere responded to report of a woman that had been raped at a hotel in the city, 170 kilometres (105 miles) north of the capital, Helsinki.
Two were later released while six of the players were charged with the rape crime by the Finnish district court.
