Twitter Nigeria users were at their cheeky best suggesting former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger for the job of Manchester United manager after the club sacked Jose Mourinho on Tuesday, December 18. 

Manchester United announced that they have parted ways with Mourinho and that they will appoint a caretaker manager until the end of the season.

Immediately after the announcement, Twitter users immediately started suggesting Wenger as a candidate for the job to the distress of Manchester United fans. 

Wenger is still without a job since he left Arsenal at the end of last season.

Wenger was not the only available manager that got on the Twitter Nigeria trends after the sacking of Mourinho.

Former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane and Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino also made it to the trend.
