At the beginning of the season, it was reported that Moses will be part of Jose Mouinho's plan, but the signing of Barcelona wide-man Pedro and young Brazilian forward Kenedy has cast doubts into the 24-year-old's future at Stamford Bridge.
Moses is currently nursing an injury which ruled him out of contention to be in the Super Eagles squad for next month's 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Tanzania.
Moses and Chelsea teammate John Mikel Obi were left out from Super Oliseh's 18-man foreign based players released on Monday, August 17 but the forward took to Twitter to explain why he did not make the squad.
“Thanks for all of your support and concern. I am having treatment on a small injury but hopefully will be back very soon,” Moses tweeted.
