Nigerian-born former footballer dies of cardiac arrest

Ugo Ehiogu collapsed after suffering a suspected heart attack at the club's training centre on Thursday, April 20.

Ehiogu a former England international who is born to Nigerian parents and was a coach at Tottenham's U-23 before his death.

He collapsed after suffering a suspected heart attack at the club's training centre on Thursday, April 20.

The 44-year-old was coaching on the club's academy pitches where he collapsed on Thursday morning and received immediate treatment from the Spurs medical staff.

He was rushed to the hospital but sadly could not recover from the heart attack.
