The Super Eagles home based team have been drawn against either Togo or Republic of Benin in the second round of the qualifiers for the 2018 CHAN which will hold in Kenya.

While the Super Eagles Team B await result between Togo and Republic Benin to know their opponent, Technical adviser Gernot Rohr has revealed that Chief Coach, Yusuf is solely in charge of 2018 CHAN project.

In his role as Chief Coach of the Super Eagles, Salisu is the assistant to Rohr.

“Yusuf is my first assistant so he will be in charge to coach this team and I will be only his adviser,” Rohr said about the 2018 CHAN project.

“Our staff organisation is okay and he will do it with the help of Alloy Agu for the goalkeepers.”

Players that will be used for CHAN are from the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) and Rohr has set up structures to ensure his assistants are monitoring players.

“Ally also sees the games… We have our technical committee monitoring the games, Victor Ikpeba we are calling him we speak together so everybody a look to have a very good team for CHAN is very important,” Rohr added.

“Even some of the players can come higher to the Sup[er Eagles when it is a possibility.

“So the next games (NPFL) will be watched by all of us. We are well organised. We will also watch the Benin/Togo game to have a big chance to qualify for CHAN."
