Veteran midfielder set for Liverpool return

Steven Gerrard has talks with Jurgen Klopp about returning to the club to train during the MLS off-season.


Veteran midfielder Steven Gerrard is looking at the possibility of a return to his former club, Liverpool.

The former England captain started his career at Liverpool, making his debut in 1998 and left last year after 16 years with The Reds.

The LA Galaxy midfielder is reported to have held talks with Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp about returning to the club to train during the MLS off-season.

Gerrard will also meet the German coach during Liverpool’s Sunday, November 8 home clash with Crystal Palace.

The midfielder is insisting that he is only returning to train, but some Liverpool fans would love to see him play for them again.
