We had a friend of the sport pay us a visit, granting us his time and expertise, Jimmie Akinsola shared with us his thoughts on this week’s EPL games

Jimmie thinks that when it comes to the EPL, there are just 4 clubs and other contenders

He lists the top 4 teams and top players expected to headline the weekend

  • Chelsea vs Aston Villa

The London blues with the best business during the transfer season in the acquisition of tested and trusted legs in Diego Costa who has proven to be one of the top strikers in Europe for the past two seasons

Costa has performed extremely well since the season started and confirmed already with August PFA Player of the year award

Fabgregas can also come out right for the Blues this Saturday against Aston Villa; the Spaniard is a fantastic individual, his Barclays Premier League experience have helped him with goals and assist.

These two can foster brag for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday

  • Hull City vs Man City

Manuel Pellegrini leads his troops to Kingston Upon Hull where they challenge Steve Bruce and his men

The Etihad Blues didn’t really do much in the transfers but the big back signing Mangala is still expected to beef up the line of defense

Fernando also has proven his mettle in the games he has featured so far against Stoke City and Bayern Munich, which they unfortunately lost

They haven’t really had the best intro to the season but two draws with Chelsea and Arsenal are proving good for them on the league table

City with a fighting spirit and the mentality of champions, can get them through at the KC Stadium

  • Arsenal vs. Tottenham:

My (darling) Arsenal started quite early in their preparations with the arrival of Alexis Sanchez and Callum Chambers who’ve proven to be sensational signings for the Emirates club.

Mathieu Debuchy, if available can cover up the missing link in Arsenal’s backline, Kierian Gibbs should do well against Spurs in the North London Derby

We all know how the North London Derbies between these two teams always turn out

Arsenal have been lacking in front, since Olivier Giroud got injured, Danny Welbeck has been trying to charge the attack, and he has a double to do against Mauricio Pochettino’s men on Saturday

  • Liverpool vs. Everton

Another derby, but this time at the Merseyside; these old city rivals put in more than the best when they face each other and with Mario Balotelli in attack, anything can happen

The Italian, though still struggling to fill the gap left by Luis Suarez, can spring a surprise in this encounter if they get him going, they could pose a serious title challenge.

However, the Reds defence have to be wary of former Chelsea man Romelu Lukaku who has all the strength and speed to outdo a slacking backline

  • Players to Watch In The Week

I think Radamel Falcao will do well West Ham; as tricky as that tie can be, Man Utd is expected to record their second victory

Mario Balotelli carries lots of expectations going into the week against Everton; on the other side Romelu Lukaku should be able to pull some strings

Danny Welbeck should come out right for Arsenal too. If there is no time he has put the ball past the net, Saturday is the day he should change that.

Other EPL Week 6 Games are:

  • Saturday

Crystal Palace vs Leicester City

Southampton vs QPR

Sunderland vs Swansea

Man Utd vs. West Ham

  • Sunday

West Brom vs. Burnley

  • Monday

Stoke City vs Newcastle
