Klopp led Liverpool to an undefeated month with two league victories against Brentford (H) and Crystal Palace (A) and a draw with Chelsea away at Stamford Bridge.
Guardiola posted similar results in January, starting the year with a 2-1 victory over Arsenal at Emirates Stadium and another 1-0 victory at Etihad Stadium over Chelsea before drawing 1-1 with Southampton at St. Mary's Stadium on January 22.
Other nominees for the monthly award are Wolverhampton Wanderers Bruno Lage and Norwich City's Dean Smith.
