After leading MFM FC to survive relegation battles in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), Fidelis Ilechukwu has resigned as coach.

A 1-0 win over FC IfeanyiUbah on the last day of the 2016 season saw MFM finish 16 to avoid dropping to the Nigeria National League (NNL).

Ilechukwu who has been with MFM FC for 10 years, parted ways with the club on Monday, October 3.

Although his reason to quit the Olukoya Boys was not revealed, Pulse Sports learnt that the young manager is keen to take time away from the game to attend some refresher courses.
