The Super Eagles of Nigeria will face Zambia in match-day one of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Ahead of the game, Manchester City striker, Iheanancho does not expect the game against the Chipolopolo of Zambia to be an easy one.
"It’s an away game for us and is going to be a difficult one," Iheanacho told the official website of CAF.
"We have great players that will make the difference against Zambia.
"We have to overcome Zambia first before we can talk about Cameroon and Algeria.
"However, it’s not going to be easy and nobody knows what’s going to happen, we will keep fighting as a team to get to the World Cup."
The 20-year-old who scored for the Super Eagles in their last game against Tanzania also expressed his commitment to the Super Eagles.
"I will work hard for my country as an individual, and we are going to put in all hard work collectively as a team,” he added.
"It’s unfortunate we missed out on the 2017 AFCON but we are not out of everything.
For the qualification series, the Super Eagles have been placed in Group B with Algeria, Zambia and Cameroon.
