Chelsea captain joins the league of 'Highest Scoring Defenders'

With 38 goals, John Terry joins David Unsworth as joint-top highest scoring defender in the English Premier League

 

Chelsea captain, John Terry yesterday, Wednesday, April 29 became the English Premier League's joint-highest scoring defender.

The Blues captain netted Chelsea’s second goal in the 3-1 victory over relegation-threatened Leicester, which helped move Jose Mourinho’s side to the brink of the league title.

That Terry's goal makes him level with former Everton defender David Unsworth with 38 goals  as leagues highest scoring defender ever.

John Terry will to add a new record this weekend as they face Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.

Chelse are a win away from winning the English Premier League title.
