Ogu spoke on his career, time with the Super Eagles, winning the league with his club, Hapoel Be'er Sheva and his family.

Speaking in the interview, Ogu touched on his recent omission from the Super Eagles and revealed that he is very hopeful of a return.

Ogu had his Super Eagles debut under late Stephen Keshi in March 2013 in a FIFA World Cup qualifier against Kenya.

The midfielder won the Israeli Premier League with his club Hapoel Be’er Sheva last season. Speaking on the league win which is the first for the club, Ogu described the achievement as the most important moment of his career so far.

The 28-year-old scored four goals in 34 league appearances and got the award of best foreign player in the league.

He got wedded to his partner, Adaolisa last year and the midfielder told Pulse TV that he married ‘the woman of his dreams’.

During the chat the midfielder said being married as a footballer has been great.

“I think it feels great,” the 28-year-old midfielder replied when he was asked about being married as a professional footballer.


“The more I grow, the more I understand that I have to be responsible and have a family,” he continued.

“Having a wife is something great for me because I think I met the girl of my dreams. Since I got married to her, it’s been blessing and favour everywhere.”
