English midfielder injures his hand while training hard to find new club

English midfielder Joey Barton shared a photo of his palm injury he suffered from training

After just being released by Queens Park Rangers, English midfielder Joey Barton is trying so hard to find a new club.

The 32-year-old might have been training too hard as he injured his hand due to the intense work out.

Barton posted a photo of a scar on his hand which he got from some intense gym sessions on his official Instagram account.

The English midfielder has been keeping his followers update from the St Mary's University in Twickenham where he is undergoing strength and conditioning sessions to keep him in shape.

The once-capped England international played 28 times for QPR in the last English Premier League but couldn't stop the London club from going down.

Barton was released at the end of the season along with some other first team stars.

Barton's career and life have been marked by numerous controversial incidents and disciplinary problems and he has been convicted twice on charges of violence.
