Not many goals are scored in the early seconds in football, however, a numerable amount is scored within the regulation time of 90 minutes.

Combined with the extra 20 minutes played in the knockout stage where teams are log-head at the same score line, it could be a basket of goals.

However, a few goals have gone in within the first few seconds of kick-off, the latest to be recorded was Nigeria’s female national player, Courtney Dike whose 13 second goal in the FIFA U-20 Women World Cup, Canada 2014 booked the fastest goal in the history of women tooball.
