According to Turkish outlet, Fanatik Fiorentina have already had a bid below Trabzonspor’s valuation of the player turned down.
They are however ready to return with an improved bid.
The new Fiorentina manager Stefano Pioli was Onazi's coach at Lazio and with current Lazio midfielder Lucas Biglia on the verge of joining AC Milan, Onazi could be his direct replacement.
For Trabzonspor this season, Onazi made 30 league appearances, scoring two goals. He played a further four games in the domestic cup.
