The 2016 Copa Lagos held on Sunday, December 11 and it was fun as usual.
The event held at Eko Atlantic Beach, Victoria Island, Lagos and had in attendance notable dignitaries including the Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency Mr Akinwunmi Ambode.
A celebrity match, a fashion show and a concert with performances from top rated artistes all held on that day.

The European beach soccer champions took the lead late in the first period through coach and captain, Angelo Schirinzi, who shot past goalkeeper Godwin Ayalogu in the Nigerian goal.
The Sand Eagles equalised with a minute left on the clock through Abu Azeez. Emeka Ogbonna gave Nigeria the lead for the first time in the game with seconds left in the first period after shooting home from a free kick.
In the second period, Noel Ott scored with a bicycle kick but Azeez levelled the scores immediately with a shot from the centre-half. Switzerland, however, extended their lead with two goals in the dying seconds of the period and continued the rout in the last period of the game to finish 8-3 against the hosts.
Former Nigeria internationals led by Victor Ikpeba recorded a 2-1 win over their entertainers’ counterparts in the celebrity match.
The ex-Super Eagles stars, playing with the name Team Ikpeba came from behind to snatch victory after the entertainers, playing with the name Team D'Banj had taken a first quarter lead.
