Sudan replace Mali for Super Eagles Team B Abu Dhabi tour

Players to begin camping on December 30. Enyeama makes CAF final three man shortlist for African Player of the Year

The Federation Malienne de Football has changed its schedules for their preparations for the Eagles, Les Aiglons’ in their forthcoming 30th African Cup of Nations Championship in Equatorial Guinea and so will not play the Super Eagles team B in their January tour of United Arab Emirates.

Cote D'Ivoire who won bronze at the 2014 African Nations Championship in South Africa, will now play Cote d’Ivoire and Sudan instead.

Nigeria plays Cote D'Ivoire on January 11 and face Sudan on January 17.

Players will now meet at camp on December 30th.

Meanwhile, former Swiss junior international Steve Ukoh has confirmed his availability for the tour of the Super Eagles team B.

The player whose parents hail from Akwa Ibom state in Nigeria had his switch of allegiance application granted him by FIFA last week.

Super Eagles captain, Vincent Enyeama scaled past the final cut down for the African Footballer of the Year Award.

Together with current holder Yaya Toure and Gabon international, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, they will now contest on the January 8 Gala night.
